Things to Know
There is an ATM on Location for your convenience. The ATM is located at the Carnival Headquarters.
Handicap Parking. There are a limited number of Handicap Parking spaces near the Carnival Headquarters. First come - first serve bases.
No Overnight Parking Allowed. Vehicles can not be left at the carnival grounds or Budd Park grounds. Vehicles will be towed at owners expense.
No Overnight Camping Allowed.
No campers, no tents and no sleeping in vehicles in Budd Park or on the Village of Shortsville property.
No Trespassing on the Carnival Grounds from 1am to 8am during the carnival dates. This includes the carnival grounds and all of Budd Park and Village of Shortsville property.
No Weapons Allowed on the carnival grounds or in Budd Park and the Village of Shortsville property.
No Outside Alcohol is Allowed on the carnival grounds. The only alcohol that is allowed is what is sold at the beer stand and consumed inside the fenced area under the pavilion.
No Pets Allowed on the carnival grounds at anytime during the carnival dates.
Certified service animals are allowed only with proper proof of certification for the animal.
No Outside Vendors Allowed Peddling on Carnival Grounds or on the Village of Shortsville Property (Budd Park).
Vendors, at the carnival, have been approved by the carnival committee and the carnival promoter. Any outside vendor needs approval by the Citizens Hose Carnival Committee and the carnival promoter prior to the carnival. No Exceptions.
Carnival Grounds, Budd Park and Parking Areas are Patrolled by the Ontario County Sheriffs Department and the Shortsville Firemen's Carnival Security Staff. Anyone that is out of line will be asked to leave and may not come back to the carnival for that year. Those that don't abide will be arrested.
