Come And Enjoy The Giant Firemen's Parade 6/20/2025 at 7pm

The Shortsville Firemen's Parade consist of 100 or more different units in the parade.

Parade Information

 The Shortsville Firemen's Parade is an annual tradition of the Village of Shortsville. It has been since 1939 and is always on Friday night starting at 7pm. SHARP! The parade consist of area fire departments, ambulance corps, color guards, bands, drum corps, clowns, politicians, race cars, old cars, tractors and so much more!

Reminder: West Main St. and Water St. close to traffic at 6pm sharp. 

No parking is allowed on West Main or Water streets.

Parade Route

 The Firemen's Parade starts at St. Dominic's Catholic Church on West Main St. at Route #21. 

It proceeds down West Main St. to Water St. and finishes inside the carnival grounds at Budd Park.

Judge's Stand

 The Shortsville Firemen's Parade Judging stand is located in front of Herendeen's HVAC at 32 West Main Street. 

The Wayne County Judges judge the participants in the parade.

The results of the parade can be found on the "Parade Winners" page a few days after parade night.

Shortsville Parade Lineup Information

 Those of you marching in the parade can find your lineup spot from any Shortsville Fire Police at:

1. Water Street at West Main Street.

2. West Main Street at Maple Ave

3. St. Dominics Catholic Church Parking Lot

4. Any Shortsville Fire Department Fire Police

The Shortsville Fire Department Fire Police can be found throughout the parade route.

Parade Lineup and Positions

 The Citizens Hose Company sends out parade invitations every year beginning in March. 

If you receive an invitation please send your response card back to us as soon as possible. 

To make it easier you can enter your information by going to the home page and click the "parade request" button.

Lineup positions depend on how quick we receive your response card or your online request response.

 If you would like to be in the Shortsville Firemen's Parade, and this is your first time or haven't received an invitation in the mail from us,  please enter your requests  by clicking on the link on the Home Page.

Parking at the Parade and Carnival

On Friday Night, (Parade Night), West Main Street, Water Street, Terrace Place, Sheldon Street, Brownald Street, Maple Street. West High Street, High Street, East High Street, Booth Street and Hebron Ave. ARE CLOSED FOR THE PARADE.


Parking on Parade Night. There is limited parking at the carnival grounds. You can park at the Red Jacket High School on Route #21. Parking is available at the lot located at the corner of Sheldon Street and East High Street. Some of the back streets are open to park also, especially east of Water Street and the Canandaigua outlet. Parking is allowed on West Main Street after the parade.


Please Park Courteously and Keep the Street Clear so that emergency apparatus can pass through easily. Remember that emergency apparatus are far larger than passenger cars, SUV's and pickup trucks.  


Please be Courteous and Do Not Park on Lawns or Block Driveways.
